Which Roof Types You Need ?

Surely we need to pick up the best roofing for our houses. The best is not defined as the most sophisticated product with costly price, which no one else could not probably afford. The best roofing is determined by its durability and suitability with your house’s construction, alongside other supporting aspects such as weather. And to find this one requires thorough analysis.
However, to enlighten you, here are several of roof types you can refer to.

Asphalt Shingles

Asphalt Shingles

This one is considered to be the most used roofing, made of organic paper fiber mat or fiberglass. Each primary material is suitable for different cases. The fiber mat is good at cold weather and wind, while the fiberglass is more suitable for resisting fire and moisture. Unfortunately, this roof type is not eco-friendly for it is made of petroleum-based product, while it can actually be recycled.
Its moderate weight might be the most loved characteristic, though it is, in fact, not very durable. Besides, its price is pretty affordable, from inexpensive to moderate. You might want to set this roof on low to steep sloped roof.

Plastic Polymer

If you put durability and maintenance cost as the most prioritized aspect to consider in roof types, this plastic polymer which is certainly made of high-tech plastic polymer could be the best choice. It is considered to be one of the most durable roofing with low maintenance. Even if you purchase it in such a moderate price.
Another upside of this roof is its light weight without eliminating its wind resistance. The use is considerably flexible, from moderate roofs to steep sloped roofs. Also, some of the types are able to be recycled.

Clay Tile

The classic look it delivers is actually priceless, though it actually cost quite expensive, compared to other lighter roof types. Clay tile is heavy, you should have known that. But it is excellent in resisting fire and good enough to protect the house from low to fair wind. Also, clay tile is among those roofing which are made from natural materials, which are good for this earth.
However, you might need more help to assemble the roof, for it requires great force to have it done. Moreover, we cannot deny that clay tile is more fragile than the others. Though it requires low maintenance, but one you got giant tree knock on your house’s roof, you might need to spend a lot.
